On cask at Callister, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma reveals lots of wood, roasted malt and a sort of toasted almond quality. Flavour is very similar, revealing loads of roasted malt, toasted almonds, dark cocoa, and English bready malt. Very full-bodied, with a thick palate and an almost abrasive flavour profile. Really nice stuff.

Cask at Callister
Black color with light brown small persistent head. A blend of dark biscuity malts, cocoa and roasted nuts, over a soft mouthfeel and bold body, and a slightly coffeish aroma. Very light acidity from the dark malts, and traces of vanilla.
Delicious.
