On tap at Migration, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of oats, cocoa powder and roast. Flavour brings out roasted malt, dry cocoa, and oats. Dry and robust. A solid porter.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a almost pure black color with a medium white head. A light nose of chocolates, some lactose. The flavor is medium toasted malts, lean chocolates, caramel, toffee perhaps, a bit thin. Some milkiness. OK.

Tap at Migration, Portland - 07/11/12. Very dark mahogony brown bordering light black with a thin tan head. Nose is dark roast malts, molasses, chocolate and liqourice. Taste follows nose, roast malt forward, bitter chocolate. Medium bodied with slightly spritzy carbonation, a little too much for me. Ok - drinkable porter but nothing too exciting.

Draught. Pours black with beige head. Much lacing. Slight aroma, due to being slightly too cold. Aroma is malty. Medium to full flavour, malt, chocolate and coffee notes. Coffee finish.
