Clear dark brown beer, small aery beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, caramel, some dried fruits, chocolate, roasted stuff. MF: soft to no carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, little sourish, very roasted, malty, caramel, bitter, dry. Aftertaste: very roasted, sweet, caramel, dried fruits, little vegetal, hoppy finish.

Courtesy of and shared with the Pivoteka people (thanks!). Not cool enough to get a special beer for my 5000, but this will do more than well, pretty cool design and I do dig the name so yes, it’s special enough. Blackish dark brown body with no head really. Luckily, this is not necessarily a style where flatness will detract that much. Aroma... whoa, nice, caramel, figs, soft and bready in a way, pleasant and not overwhelming. Interesting taste, hard caramels, dark malts, milk chocolate, very light soy. Slightly walnutty. Very fine maltiness, not too strong, just on the border for an Imperial but a truly enjoyable stout!

Niska, beżowa, drobnopęcherzowa piana. Aromat bardzo przyjemny, intensywny, bogaty. Czuć gorzką czekoladę, słonecznik, wędzonkę, kawę, paloność. W smaku jest przede wszystkim palone, czekoladowe, kawowe, wędzonka również wyraźnie wyczuwalna. Kwaskowate. Ewidentnie brakuje mu ciała, jest jak na RISa bardzo wodniste. Goryczka wyraźnie zaznaczona. Bardzo dobre piwo, jednak nie jest to RIS. Dorzucić mu tak z 6 Blg nie zmieniając proporcji i będzie to co powinno być teraz. Tym niemniej nie ma co narzekać bo jest całkiem smaczne.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Perun Kraina Welesa ].Clear dark black brown color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood, roasted, tobacco, dark malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160206]

Aromat: z początku ciastka, kakao, przypieczone ciasto, troche popiołu, nie ma alkoholu ale dosyć pjalne, mniej gęste niż po risie można by sie spodziewać, z czasem daje o sobie znać słodycz, która zaczyna dominowac (coś jak chlebowa landrynka? ta słodkosć jest dosyć przyjemna ale przykrywa oczekiwaną kawe i ciemne nuty). Goryczka wydaje się pochodzić raczej od popiołu i alkoholu niż chmieli co jest kolejnym brakiem. Jak ne FES jest to świetne piwo, ale jak na RISa treściwość i goryczę nalezałoby poprawić (chociażby może mniej odfermentowac te 19 plato...) no i więcej nachmielić...

Bottled at Chmielarna Marszałkowska, Warsaw. Black, beige head. Aroma of caramel and licorice. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Heavy on caramel and aniseed, some salty licorice and coffee. Warming mid bitter finish.

50cl bottle. Pours almost black with a mid-sized creamy good lasting tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, red fruits, caramel, coffee. Taste of sweet dark roasted malt, mild coffee, chocolate, cocoa, sweet light alcoholic finish.
