(Cask at Market Porter, Southwark, London, 18 July 2011) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Roasted, malty nose with coffee, dark chocolate, dark rye bread and hints of fresh asphalt. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, dark chocolate and a fairly dry finish with a generous coffee bitterness. Medium body, dry. Tasty and quite nice.
