Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’14, day 1, 02/12/14 (listed as dry hop simcoe). Clear golden blonde with a moderate off white covering. Nose is caramel, vanilla, straw, citric peel, earthy hop tones. Taste comprises pale malt, bready tones, light orange, caramel, vanilla. Medium body, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings. So so pale, limited hop presence.

Cask at the brewpub. Aroma is cut grass, mineral, light caramel malts. Clear pale gold coloured pour with a short lived white head. Flavour is light biscuit cara malts with sweet juicy resin hop, grassy hop. English yeast esters with a hint of spicy hop in the finish. Palate is semi sweet and bland with moderate carbonation. OK but nothing special.
