That’ll be me 20K then @ ChrisO’s. Clear deep red - amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Decent fine carbonation. Smooth caramel malts, touch of cream. Tangy fruits and very mild spice. Light semi dry finish. A fruity caramel beer showing some age, but not bad.

Bottle share at Ken’s 20K. Thanks to the man himself for providing this. Pours red/brown with a very thin head. Booze and fruit in the aroma, taste is subtle with fruits, bread and a hint of booze. Not overpowering and a good one to share.

Bottle at Kenny’s 20K. It pours clear deep brown with pretty much no head. The nose is rich malty action, somewhat meaty, OXO cubes, oxidised, wood, earth and toasted brown bread. The taste is malt-driven, pretty sweet, brown sugars, meaty, caramel, light spice, fruit cake, old malt and dry wood with a dry finish. Medium - full body, fine carbonation and oily/chewy mouth-feel. Not a hug amount of depth going and it does taste a touch aged. OK.

Bottle split at Madmitch76 20K tasting, thanks to Kenny, 15/01/16. Chestnut brown with a moderate beige covering that quickly dissipates to nyadda. Nose is nutty, molasses, toffee, grain, airy malt. Taste packs more punch, dark fruit rinds, dates, caramel, malt loaf, toasted brown sugar. Full bodied, fine carbonation, warming alcohol in the close. Doesn’t deliver a great deal on the ABV but has held together fairly well and is a drinkable enough sipper.

Bottle shared at Kenny’s 20K tasting - London. Big thanks to Ken himself for this one. Pours clear russet with a light, bubbly head. Mild aroma, light earth, dried fruits. Medium sweet flavour with notes of toasted bread, dried berries, light alcohol. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with notes of ripe fruits, dried berries, some bitter earth. Fairly subdued. Not bad.

It pours with a deep copper body with virtually no head at all. The aroma offers up brown sugar stewed sweet cherries and then raisins, dates and a bit of molasses. The taste is rich and sweet nectar like with sweet prune juice and ripe cherries as well as smooth sweet molasses. At times I seem to be getting a rich apple cider sensation. Pretty darn nice.

HUGE thanks to CaptainCougar for sharing this. Pours a clear reddish color with nearly no head. Aroma of toasted malts, toffee and tea. The taste is toffee, caramel and toasted notes. Medium bodied. Oxidized, but still nice.
