2005 Vintage, 12 oz bottle purchased at Bell’s Brewery, Inc./Bell’s Eccentric Cafe in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The pour is dark brown, opaque, limited light tam head. The taste is sweet malt, honey, floral, and general stronger spice notes. The palate is medium to heavier bodied, with low carbonation, bordering on flat, and a sweet malt spicy finish. Held up really well, all things considered.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black ale with a small foamy head with limited retention or lacing. Aroma of chocolate, molasses and light species. Taste is a mix of light species with some molasses and light spices. Body is about average with low carbonation with light warming alcohol notes. Enjoyable strong ale which actually aged quite well.

Very old rating found on a loose page while cleaning, possibly from 2010 RB gathering in Grand Rapids - Dark amber-brown pour. Hugely malty brew. Very sweet. There's a little bitterness there that keeps it from being cloying. Nice dark fruit notes. Full bodied.

I got this as an extra in a great trade with hoppymeal. Thanks Derek!
This pours from 12oz bottle a very dark brown with about a 1/2 head of tannish foam. Still enough foam to put some nice lacing on my glass.
The smell..well, I got a good whiff as soon as I popped the cap. Caramel malt and dark fruit hit my nose buds in abundance. The nose reminds me of a good English BWSA.
The taste has a huge caramel malt profile and is delish! That caramel is followed by some very nice dark fruit character in the way of raisin and plum and fig. Wow. This is one tasty brew. It has a medium to medium thick mouthfeel and it finishes with that caramel malt/dark fruit goodness. Hell of a sipper in my book and the alcohol just shows up as some warming after the swallow. It's most welcome for this rather cold snowy day here in Casper.
Btw, there *is* some bitterness here that I notice mostly when I swish the beer in my mouth and it's a dark chocolate bitterness. Very nice and a good balancing factor to the caramel malt sweetness. I think Bell's did themselves proud with this brew and I wouldn't hesitate to drinking this one again!
Thanks again, Derek!
My taste buds are very happy right now.

That’ll be me 20K then @ ChrisO’s. Hazy deep amber beer, good pale tan head, short lived. Smooth palate. Sweetish malts, caramel and toffee. Sweet cinnamon. Mild tangy fruits. Large pinch of spice. Light semi dry finish. Comes together well.

Bottle shared at Kenny’s 20k tasting - London. Cheers to Ken himself for this! Vintage 2008. Pours rich brown with a light, tan cream head. The nose has light damp carpet, hints of cinnamon, mint and wood. Heavy sweet flavor with dark sugars, more cinnamon, toffee. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish with strong sugary syrup character, some vague fruits, gooey toffee. Heavy stuff. Not bad.

Bottle shared at the Kenny 20K mega monster tasting. 15/01/2016. Huge thanks to Kenny for this one, 2008. Dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a small tan head. Aroma is black pepper, brown malts, cinnamon and Worcester sauce. Flavour is sweet, cinammon, spicy little black pepper, brown bread, some jammy fruits in the finish. Palate is thick and sticky, sugar, moderate to low carbonation. Decent.
