33cl bottle from SlackerMads, as part of the EU Local Swap 2017, thanks! A black beer with a mid-sized good lasting tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, coffee, liquorice, hints of dark riped reddish fruits. Taste of sweet dark malt, chocolate, sugar, vanilla, lactose, mild roasted malt, nice stuff!

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a reddish black with a beige head. Pleasant aroma, sweet, dried fruit, vanillaish, boozy - no real roastiness. Rich, sweet, malty body. A little licorice, has a rum note and some oakiness that seems more to be from chips than from a barrel. Again hardly any roast. A rather different take on the style, but decently pleasant with enough body to balance the booze. 050417
