Bottle from the (sadly recently closed and much lamented) East Town Bottle Shop & Tap Room, Ipswich. Pours a hazy pale gold with a small off white head. Lovely aroma of light fresh hop and fruit. Light sweetness, heavy bitterness. Body a bit thin. Lasting bitterness to finish.

Thank you chriso (?). 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Hazy orange, little white head. Nose is dull insecticide hops, herbal, unpleasant raw bitter, chemical hops. Taste is bitter plasts, herbal mixed with same unpleasant chemical & insecticide bitterness, faint pine. Plaster yeast body. Their Himalayan Red Rye Ale was pretty decent, this one I don’t like.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is earthy, toffee, a bit off. Taste is the same, with an oily mouthfeel. Classic British Pale Ale I’d say.
