Golden with a white head - Malt with some herbal hops in the aroma - Malt body with some herbal hops that has some bitterness - the malt and some hops goes into the finish - This was ok

Bottle at home, 17/04/17. Clear golden with a well appointed off white head that retains well. Nose is sweet malt, toasted grains, green hop notes, caramel, orange peel. Taste comprises pale malts, straw, caramel, toasted corn, vanilla, light citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light grassy hop bitterness. Was surprised on first viewing why this beer gets such a low score in comparison to other hopped efforts by this brewer ... can see why now ... just totally lacks hop presence and the general dynamic I expect from an APA. More like a lightly hopped pils or a very basic bew pub pale. Looks and feels good just doesn’t get out of second gear.

Flaska från SB. Mörkt gyllengul, disig medelhögt skum. Jäst och brödig doft någonstans mellan nordtysk lager och en engelsk golden ale. Äen smakmässigt långt från en APA. Kanske lite murrig smakpalett för att övertyga och eftersmaken är blek och lite jästig med antydan till en liten orenhet. Ok iaf.

330ml bottle. Golden colour with a thin white head that quickly disappears. Aroma of grainy bready lager malts, fruity hops. Taste has bready grainy malts, fruity, orange, fairly sweet, just a light bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is nice, oily texture and average carbonation, light bodied and easy drinking. Nice beer but I’m certain this is a golden ale not an APA.

(Bottle, 23 Dec 2016) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of tropical fruit, pineapple, citrus, grapefruit, mandarin and a touch of honey. Malty, fruity taste with pineapple, grapefruit, honey, orange marmalade and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing. Nice one.

Bottle. Little Leeds Beer House. Light gold. Soft haze. Film and bubbles of white head. Nose has pale, lager type malts. Some overripe lemon. Not a deal else. Taste is sweet and a little fusty. Soft carbonation. Light body. Fusty, almost cardboard like finish. A big surprise, this. Surely this is a lager, not an APA.

Bottle picked up in Malmo. It pours hazy orange - amber with a thick white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, tangerine, mango, candied peel, marmalade, sweaty action and bread. The taste is crisp, dry, tangerine, sticky, candied orange peel, marmalade, brioche, grainy, light alcohol and light spice with a firmly dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not so bad, but a bit step down from the West Coast IPA.

Nice easy drinkable ale.
Hazed pale golden color with a fine frothy white head. Good lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Citric, herbal/grassy and fruity flavor.

KØLF 170616. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is cabbage, malt, , herbs. Flavour is the same. Boring beer.
