Deep amber. The frothy head is of short duration. Aroma of toffee, metals and ash. Taste is mildly sweet with a metallic tinge. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Drinkable.

Darker amber colored malty marzen. A bit ashy amd harsh, pokey flavors. But the malt body is great if you look around those. Konsum dresden

0.5 l bottle from local ’Dursty’, best before April 2017. Clear, dark brownish amber with a thin, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, nuts and honey. Rather sweet, malty and slightly grassy taste of caramel, nuts, dark honey and hints of straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and minimally metallic finish. Medium body, slightly oily and a little effervescent mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Okay!

500ml bottle. Barely clear, deep amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mellow, minimally toasty, caramel malty aroma a very cautious woody touch, hoppy overtones with a touch of red berries. Taste is slightly dry woody, hints of oak chips, subtle sweetness with some caramel and vanilla notes, a cautious fruity hoppy touch of red berries. If this was a tea resulting from second extraction I would have serious interest in tasting the original infusion. In this case, having the original at hand, I have to ask myself: Where’s all the flavour gone? What a wretched outcome for all this input.

Bouteille (otto:ogottogott):Light chestnut-amber coloured, small off-white foamy layer; sweetish caramelly nose with a slightly tart "woody" touch;light to moderate sweetish flavour, low bitterness, quite light bodied for a beer of 5.5%; slightly lingering more bitter and more tart "woody"-caramelly finish. Quite an uniforme brew...

(bottle, as Bernstein Märzen GC) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Mildly bready malty aroma with distinctive notes of caramel, hints of nuts and shades of herbal and very subtle fruity hops. Moderately sweet flavour, quite light bodied with a soft carbonation. Mildly toasted and rather slim cara-malty base with nutty notes, backed a discreetly spicy and subtle fruity hops; moderately caramelly malt-accented finish with shy hoppy notes. Drinkable but rather disappointing concerning the list of ingredients. 10.IV.16

Moderat malzig-herber Antrunk mit wässrigen Noten. Leider wird das Bier auch später nicht intensiver und bleibt somit entäuschend flach, wenig karamellig, etwas herb. Noch in Ordnung. 10/7/8/8/11/8
