10/7/8/8/11/8

Pours an amber color. Flavours of malt, hints of malt and walnut. Full-bodied, long and pleasant finish.

Bottle. Clear copper colour. This beer is all about the malts but I do not like the balance. Either too much Vienna malt which I do not like, and/or far too much caramel. There is lots of caramel malty flavour, to the point of astringency, metallic bitterness. Not exactly to my taste.

Bottle from trade with Beerhunter111, many thanks. Dark amber color with medium white head. Malt, caramel, red fruits in aroma. Caramel malt, burned sugar, spices.

0,5 l bottle. Thanks a lot to kappldav123! Clear dark copper in the glass, two finger light tanned head. Looking really good! Sweet malty nose. Taste starts really roasted malty, very grainy, dry, long lasting with a mid bitterness. Hints of citrus in the background. All in a smooth way. Surprisingly complex brew for a Duckstein.

Geschmack kräftig malzig, mild hopfig, gering nussig, herb, floral.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass copper coloured, nice head. Starts intense malty, fine spicy, more and more dry. Light metallically background. Finish more balanced, malty-spicy, still dry. Not bad!

Smooth and fresh. Intense floral on a smooth malty body. Nice amber smooth malt. Not too sweet, nice soft with a velvet-like touch. The mainpart is floral-malty, moderate sweet with nice floral hops. Moderate bitter, but the the floralness of the hops is strange. You can taste the ice-like Polaris, and its menthol-ice flavour doesn’t really fit in the picture. The aftertaste is long, soft-smooth with the great smooth and not too sweet malty body, the fresh-floral hops are nice dominating the picture, but the Polaris-hops are too much in the foreground with their ice-candy like menthol-aroma. Strange but interesting.
