On cask at the Southern. Appearance - cloudy orange with a nice head. Nose - bitter orange. Maybe apricot. Taste - yep apricots again. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced dry finish. Lovely mouthfeel. Overall - single dimensional but great single dimension.

Very hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and has a light minerally crispness. Light pale malts, trace of thin malt cream sweetness. Mild orange hops and dry floral bitterness. Dry finish. Mellow orange bitter linger. There is a dusty feel running throughout. Not bad but not very clean on the palate.

500ml bottle from Great Grog. Pours hazy amber, big off-white head. Aromas of lemon and grapefruit. Initial impression of the taste is - Lilt! Massive grapefruit and tropical fruit. Light sweetness at the back. Medium body, oily texture. Nice.

Bottle at home. It pours clear golden amber with a medium foamy-white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, biscuit, gooseberry and light toast. The taste is smooth, bitter-sweet, gooseberry, lemon peel, grapefruit, touch of caramel, wood and digestive biscuits with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Nice bitter-sweet balance. Solid stuff. Rather drinkable.

Bottled. Almost clear golden, mid sized head. Citrus and gooseberry up front. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with mid bitter finish. A solid modern ale.

Clearly golden beer, very thick, white lively head. Smells of tropical, fruity hop. Maybe a little spice of some sort. Taste is bitter, grassy hop, bittersweet grapefruit and citrus. Lasting dry, bitter hop finish. There's not loads to this but it's very drinkable.

Bottle from Cornelius. Murky bronze body with a massive off-white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of melon, caramelised sugar, toffee apple and orange. Flavour is initially sweet from the lightly roasted malts, then there’s a big, bitter, hoppy hit - notes of orange, lime and grapefruit. Very dry. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Lively fizz. There are bucket-loads of hops in this - it reminds me of Top Out’s (also excellent) The Cone.

New. Tryst batch... Reddish amber.. Bubbly white head... Big, ezty peppery fredh hop nose.. Smells like the bags at the brewery.. Orange grapefruit nose... Big jop oily front again orange and grapefruit.. Very fresh hop... Zezty and agsin a pepperynedd eith quite a bit of bitterness... If anything s little to frshhop 3.9
