Dark brown. The aroma is mostly molasses. Just a touch of chocolate, and a bit of sugar.

On tap at Jellyfish, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roast, with oats and some chalk. Flavour is rather oat-like, with a rather low roastiness, some earthy notes, and toasted malt. Very dry and rather light for an impie stout. Not bad, but missing some oomph.

Draft pour enjoyed at Jellyfish. A midnight jet black pour with an espresso tan fizz head. Aroma is modest. Light toasty malt character, some cocoa. Flavor is a bit on the doughy side, but an otherwise smoother than.m double digits impy stout here. Soft roasted finish, but a pretty shallow stout. Pretty good as an overall.
