A dark mild with a smokey malty taste that emits aromas of roasted coffee and chocolate. Campfire is all about the quality malted barley that give it its velvety finish. This is a modern twist on a traditional dark mild, and a perfect companion to beef, lamb and duck dishes. Enjoy any time with friends and family.

Gravity cask at the Clarendon Park Club Winter Beer Festival. Very dark brown and only slightly translucent. Mostly flat with a liitle ringlet of off-white head and a lot of lacing. Chocolate, coffee, forest floor in the aroma. The taste is much more bitter than I'd expected, with a sharp finish borderinf on the astringent. Medium to full body for the ABV. Almost no carbonation in the mouth. A very decent mild.

Cask at GBBF 2015. It pours deep brown with a small, bubbly beige head. The nose is toasty, earthy roast, wood, soft berry, spice and damp leaves. The taste is dry, rich roast, earth, twiggy, wood, dirt, caramel, muted smoke and cocoa with a short, dry finish. Light -medium body and low carbonation. Pretty basic in my opinion. A bit dry and twiggy overall. Meh.
