Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een stevige wittige schuimkraag. De geur en smaak zijn moutig en caramelachtig.

Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of and shared with JFK10000. Murky brown, particles floating, off-white head. Lots of dried fruit, plums, yeasty, malty. Sweetish, some light sourness. Medium bodied.

Pours brown from the bottle. The head is foamy and sticky. Aroma is candy and caramel. Taste is overall sweet with notes of butterscotch, toffee, dark fruit and brown sugar. Light spice and alcohol in the finish. The sweet, spicy, alcoholic, malt-driven character reminds me overall of a German bock beer. Good stuff.
