(Bottle, 0.355 l - BB May 21 2017, from Alko, 20161125) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was quite large, white and it lasted long. Aroma had pine, berries and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, berries, caramel, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A rather unpleasant hoppy pale ale. Weird berriness.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a clear, deep amber with a lacing, off-white head. Toffeeish aroma with notes of pine and spruce. Medium body, no real caramellish sweetness, more like dry toffee - actually very pleasant. Hops not sticking out, just pleasantly dosed. A positive surprise. 090516

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, smörkola, ljus torkad frukt, persika. Lätt kropp, lagom sötma, beska med smak av citrus och grapefrukt.

Pour is a dark amber with a large white head. Aroma is a nice fresh hoppy pine. Like being in the mountains or a nice breezy day. Flavor is more of the malt used. Some caramel, a bit of roasted nuts and bit of sticky toffee. A small oliy hop is detected but it is very minor. Thankfully the sweetness of the malt is also low. It is an ok beer I was expecting more of a hop presence from these guys but at least it’s not a total sweet malt bomb.
