Re-rating (previous 6.8) Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 2B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L020401 (BBF 04/2021). AROMA: medium cereal hull aroma with slight sulphur notes. clean lager profile. APPEARANCE: deep gold color and clear. creamy medium-low ivory head with average retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium cereal hull notes, slight sulphur. background of medium-low neutral malt with slight sweetness. excessive bitterness for the style that lingers into an almost dry finish. PALATE: medium-light body with moderate carbonation. slight smoothness. OVERALL: a lager with execution problems and overly bitter.

Bottle from Cerveteca Lisboa. It pours hazy amber with a medium white head. The nose is toasty, brown bread, mild sweetness, cereal and touch of toffee. The taste is smooth bitterness, brown bread, cereal, light caramel, toasty malts, light grass and pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A well-rounded malty lager. Works rather nicely.

Bottle from Cerveteca Lisboa. Pours hazy orange, medium beige head dissipates fairly quickly leaving some residual and decent lacing. Aroma is fairly grassy, breads, cereal grains, silo, farm fields. Flavor is light plus sweet and light bitter, fairly malty, bready, grassy, again, kind of a fresh farm flavor to it. Medium body, fairly low carbonation. This is pretty tasty. Good effort.
