On tap at Fernson, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out plenty of bourbon barrels, with some wood varnish, and moderate tartness. Flavour matches this impression pretty well, with bourbon upfront, with tart red fruits, light perfume and wood varnish, and a touch of vanilla. Not really any roast, and the slight tartness isn't exactly welcome - but it's not too bad. Nice attempt, but needs lots of work.
