bottle from friend in Tampa - shared at Dart Night. On the sweeter side, smell was terrific

Keg at Craft Beer Junction, 12/04/24 (and pretty sure a few weeks previously but a worthy re-rake). Black with a khaki cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is indulgent chocolate, toffee fudge, cookie dough, dark malts, toasted brown sugars. Taste comprises chocolate sponge, brown sugar melt, vanilla, spice, dark malts, toffee fudge, molasses. Full bodied, oily viscous feel, semi drying close with a balanced blast of booze. Solid decadent impy stout.

Craft Beer Junction. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Viscous smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Rich dark malts, big chocolate cake and ice cream van chocolate. Chocolate liqueur. Boozy chocolate on the finish. Bloody marvellous.

Keg at CBJ - London. Pours black-brown with a creamy, khaki head. Medium to big sweet flavour, some dark sugars, syrup, a little artificial cocoa powder, roast, earth, booze, raisins. Full bodied, oily and lightly chewy. Warming finish, sticky sweet, lightly cloying. Novel overall.
