Bottle on the 'Balaton - NO Brush' charter train from Fonyod back to Budapest Deli, picked up from Beer Selection, Budapest, 10/06/23. Deep mahogany brown with a lasting beige head. Nose is fruit cake, caramel, dark malts, mellow bourbon, figs, raisins. Taste comprises maple syrup, sweet malts, brown sugar melt, fruit cake, toffee. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a warming kiss of alcohol. Decent sipper if no wow offered.
