A light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Thin malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Crisp pine into a mild Motueka key lime. Whisper of citrus. A pinch of hop spice on the minerally crisp finish. Nelson Sauvin also ran. Crisp and drinkable but not delivering much hop intensity.

500ml bottle direct from Kernel. It pours hazy golden yellow with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, zesty, juicy, tropical fruit punch, guava, papaya, tangerine, orange squash, grapefruit, sherbet. The taste is dry, pithy, zesty, plenty of citrus zing, lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, tropical vibes, pine needles, peppery spice, pleasing bitterness which lingers throughout and some bready malt base with a bitter, zesty finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Bright, flavourful and moreish.

Bottle at home, picked up from Mother Arch ii, 17/03/24. Hazed orange with a good sized lasting white head. Nose is bitter orange, grass, pine needle, guava, hint of Nelson, ripe melon, papaya. Taste comprises orange pith, grapefruit, pine layer, soft malts, guava, mandarin, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spattered with juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Solid well balanced and crushable pale a nice thin level of Nelson that you can detect but doesn't dominate.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the brewery taproom. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a frothy, pure white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of pithy citrus, light bitter rind, pine needles, kaffir lime, dried pale biscuits, hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pleasantly bitter finish, nips of grass, straw and pine, further rindy citrus. Super drinkable.

Bottle. Beer Central. Hazed glowing gold. Glossy topped Kernel swede of delight. Dry clean malt first off with notes of peach flesh and stone. Grassy and little piny. Ripened orange. Some earthy notes. Taste is semi sweet with a mineral slightly earthy bitterness. Fresh on the palate. Foamy carbonation. Stone fruit bitterness to finish.
