Can bought at Utrechtse Bierbrouwers Festival 2017. Aroma is strong cold coffee, roasted malt, espresso, mocha and some powdery cocoa. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium, maybe a bit thin considering the aroma. Lovely cold coffee brew.

3 May 2020. Anke's Secret Birthday Tasting avec Pieter. Bottle from Gedeelde Vreugde. Pours hazy black with a stable, frothy, beige head. Aroma of cold coffee & coffee roast, toast, chicory, walnut shell, vague raisin & prune, dried tobacco leaves. Taste has sweetish maltiness of toast, nuts, dark chocolate, prune; bitter core of coffee, ground nuts & earth. Dry, toasty finish, lingering roasted coffee & tobacco. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Good Stout but could have been creamier.

Bottle. Almost black. Coffee and licorice in the aroma and flavor. malty sweetish. Fairly low on Carbon. Roast. Tasty, but not optimally balanced.

Teveel koolzuur, roestig smaakje. Jammer.

Bottle. Color: Almost black, light brown head. Aroma: Dark malt, coffee, mocha. Taste: Roasted malt, a lot of coffee and mocha. Smooth, creamy and almost powdery mouthfeel. Moderate bitter and medium sweet. Bittery palate at finish. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Cold alcoholic coffee... Very nice.

Sample @ BXL BeerFest 2018, shared with Belgian RB crew, thanks. Brune foncée, col fin blanc-cassé. Arôme est malté caramel, pâle sur léger fruités noirs avec rétro cristal et léger café. Palais est malté, caramel; torréfié, café assez plaisant avec une petite touche noisette et chocolatée le tout sur qcq pointes de fruits noirs.

Thanks to the RB crew for sharing! Sampled draft @ BXLBeerFest 2018! Black creamy mocha head. Nose is chocolate, nice mocha, roasted & pure basic quality coffee. Basic quality mocha taste & boyd, thicker, mocha, bit too plastic, simple but fair.

Clear dark brown to black beer, no head. Aroma: lots and lots of coffee, roasted, bit dry, malty, rural, dusty. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: roasted, lots of coffee, bitter, some charcoal, rather watery and light. Aftertaste: gentle bitterness, roasted, hoppy, coffee notes.
