It’s called Snowmelter. But might as well be called a Imperial Milk Chocolate Oatmeal Coffee Stout. This beer is a cousy beverage to enjoy alone, maybe with a bit of dark chocolate on the side. Serve chilled in a wine glass or a brandy glass. A beer to enjoy in the darkness of winter.

Bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours very dark reddish brown with a small mocha head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and tiny fruity with roasted malts, burnt cereal, caramel, coffee grounds, roasted green bell peppers, moist soil, tar and hints of raw coffee cherries and cranberries. Taste is sweet, slightly bitter and malty with roasted malts, caramel, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, burnt wood, tar, alcohol, soil and hints of roasted bell peppers, peat and smoked chilis. Mouthfeel is soft, smooth, round, creamy and near full bodied. Finish is sweet, bitter and malty with roasted malts, caramel, dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, roasted bell peppers, alcohol and soil. Good beer but the coffee part which makes up most of it is rather unrefined and roasted paprika centered. Might need some time to mellow out into something great. Will revisit.
