Bottle, 5.4%. Caramelly aroma with spicy hop notes. Deep chestnut colour, seems clear. Very big stable rocky off-white head. The flavour is very malty, but not sweet. Has a powerful nutty note with biscuit and more caramel. Bready, nutty and caramelly finish and aftertaste. I did not expect much from this beer (style), but I was pleasantly surprised.

Bottle from the brewpub. Pours clear chestnut brown with stable light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, yeast, and caramel, with touches of hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish notes of yeast and caramel malt, and nutty touches. Bitter and estery aftertaste with touches of malt. A decent Dunkel.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Fine roasty malty aroma. Starts fine malty, roasty, earthy notes as well. Stouty. Light herbal touch. Some wood. Some coffee. Finish well balanced, soft-malty, shy sourish hints. Nice!

0,5 l bottle purchased at the brewpub. Simple but structured and informative label as everytime. BB 31.05.2026. Black with reddish edges in the glass. Stable nearly two finger beige foamy head. Looks good. Roasty malty and coffee aroma with berryfruity elements. Taste starts dry toasted malty, choco and coffee, less but present berryfruity with alcoholic influences. Present bitterness. Mid carbonation. Really nice one.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear dark amber with a creamy and lacing beige head. Toffee, biscuit and nuts in the nose. Medium body, very soft on the palate. Good late bittering hops make for a balanced beer. Solid craftmanship. 040620
