Flaska från SB. Rubinbrun vätska med låg skumslöja. Kakig, brödig doft. Luktar också lite bränt socker. Smakar malt, malt och åter lite malt. Den lilla. lilla beskan är precis lagom för att balansera. Bra tolkning!

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 4 Oct 2014) Reddish brown colour with brief head. Malty, fruity nose with toasty malt, caramel and treacle toffee. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of crisp-bread, orange peel, treacle toffee and a gentle bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with balanced sweetness. Fairly tasty, but a bit unbalanced, with the flavours not really combining to a unity. Still, quite enjoyable. (6/3/6/4/12=3.1) Rerate: (Bottle, 21 July 2019) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of dark bread, dried fruit, brown sugar, prunes, fruit cake, chocolate, toffee and orange peel. Malty, slightly roasted taste with dried fruit, prunes, brown sugar, liquorice, fruit cake, orange peel and a mild spicy bitterness.Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Sample at SBWF 2014. Clear copper with small head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, nuts, some dried fruit and chocolate. Not that bitter. I kind of liked this one. Hopefully we will see it at Systembolaget in February 2015.
