(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 1/2017, 20160204) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had citricness, grass and creamy toffee. Palate was medium bodied and warming with quite high carbonation. Flavours were citricness, grass, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was boozy and bitter. Aroma was pleasant but the booziness and fizziness spoiled the drinkability.

Bottle shared by Cuso. Quite good beer - honestly I could not tell it was made with rice. Malty flavours in the background, but balancing residual sugars present sufficiently. High bitterness and intense hoppy aroma and flavours. Citrusy, zesty, Light high carbonation, easy drinking. Very good.

Many thanks to rosenbergh for this beer! Floral malty beginning. Fresh, grainy, not too intense. A bit grainy, slightly bitter, a bit sweetish, not too round.

Tap@ One Pint Pub. Pours deep amber with a thick creamy white head. Fruity hoppy aroma, I get mango, some pineapple and herbal notes. Smooth. Flavor has mango, orange and grapefruity bitterness. Quite sweet with some alcohol notes towards finish. Smooth and easy to drink, the alcohol kick on the end I could do without, other than that, a pleasant brew. --- Beer merged from original tick of SunRice IPA on 05 Feb 2016 at 10:46 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. Original review text: 33cl bottle from Alko. Pours deep golden with a thick white head. Intense grapefruit aroma, very fresh. Some gooseberries. Smooth mouthfeel, aggressive bitterness. Grapefruit dominates in flavor as well. Slightly one dimensional perhaps, but I like it this way. Fresh. Very tasty.

Draught @ One Pint Pub
Pours murky orange with thick head. Aroma has sweetish fruity tones, peaches, grapefruit and tropical fruits. Flavour has grapefruits, pineapple juice. Finishes with some menthol and harsh herbal bitterness. Despite that, drinkability is quite high and ABV well hidden. Juicy - at the middle of the glass I get the usual feeling with IPAs, "could use more fruits." At the end of the glass menthol and herbs step forward and this gets some slight plastic vibes.

33 cl bottle @ tiong. Thanks Rosenbergh!
Aroma is somewhat mild with some apricot and hay. Flavour has sweet caramel, toffee, fruit juice and mild buttery notes. Finishes with harsh herbal bitterness. Quite far from the draught version, perhaps a bottle too old (BBE info was missing).
