We have a confession. Strawberry Hells isn’t really forever. Because we brew this beer with June-ripening, British strawberries, we can only make it in the summer. So while it’s tart, crisp and well rounded, it’s not around for long. We could have called it ‘Strawberry Hells sometimes’ but it didn’t have the same ring to it.

Keg at the brewery. It pours cloudy gold with a thick white head. The nose is soft, sweet red fruit, strawberry, light jamminess, straw, dough, cereal and toasty grass. The taste is crisp, smooth, soft red fruit, definite strawberry character, mild jam, doughy malts, grass and a touch of pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Very well balanced and rather thirst quenching. Not too sweet, the balance is spot in. Very nice.
