Bottle form Raynville Superstore I believe. It pours clear rich deep copper - brown with a thick, fluffy off - white head. The aroma is rich and toothy, big smokey and meaty vibes, honey glazed ham, smokey bacon crisps, touch caramel, cola cubes and brown bread. The taste is dry and toasty upfront, bitter - sweet, pleasingly firm smoke, slightly medicinal, dry oak, earth, leather, toasted nut, ryvita and brown bread with a toasty and smokey finale. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. This is right up my street. Robust and bitter. Flavourful.

50 cl bottle. Mainly caramel and malts aroma with shy notes at lhe begining. Then I was surprised with salty smoked meat notes as I kept drinking. Amber colour with creamy off white head.Good retention and lacing. Balanced flavor with some sweetness and pronounced wood notes like a Bourbon.Medium body and carbo. Long finish

500ml can from the Costco German Biergarten Collection, drank on Easter Sunday, 20th April 2025. Brown with a beige head. Not as smoky as I expected, sure it was smoky, but not as intense as I've had in Bamberg.

Pours a clear dark bronze color with a giant beige head and great retention. Great lacing too. Aroma of smoked sausages. The taste follows the nose: Smoked sausage / meat stick flavor mixed with sweet caramel malt flavor. Well done. It doesn't suffer from the dry ashtray notes of many rauchbiers. Very smooth and clean. A nice surprise. Medium body. Very low carbonation. Not bitter. Good beer.

Bottle from Great Grog. Clear amber body with a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of smoked malt and shredded wheat. Flavour of cranberry and biscuity malt. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Rich and satisfying.

Shared at the DCBeer February share. Poured a nice nutty brown color with a small very light tan head. Aroma was light sweet malts with smoke. Earthy, light peppery notes.
