12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine & Liquor in Colorado Springs, CO. Pours a pitch dark color with some rusty highlights and a large, thick, creamy tan head and excellent retention. Decent lacing. Aroma of dark malts and chocolate. The flavor matches the nose. Dark malt flavor up front and a little bittering chocolate in the finish. Not as sweet as I expected. Thick enough mouthfeel. The 6.5% ABV is well hidden. A solid, repeatable stout.

Can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown, almost black colour, with a short-lived frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light chocolate, lactose, liqouirce. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a roasty, rich smooth, dry cacao, liqouirce, milky, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can left in my fridge by a friend - smells of coffee, vanilla, chocolate milk - flavor is overly sweetened coffee with cream, but the coffee is also, like, burnt and steeped in the grounds too long - like when you don't push the plunger down on the press pot soon enough and your coffee gets a little harsh and bitter - what? - you don't use a press pot to make your coffee? - you are a philistine and should be ashamed of yourself.

This brew is a hazy dark brown color with a medium light beige head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and malt. Medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, coffee and a touch of hops. The finish is roasty with a cocoa and malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at the Swirl Wine Bar in Manitou Springs. Dark, muddy brown, with a tan ring. The nose is milk chocolate, vanilla, and some light licorice. Sweet and malty, with a light, pleasant bitterness. Medium to heavy body, smooth, and creamy. This is a nice, sweet, and interesting stout.
