Cask@the hare and billet, Blackheath, SE London - Dark amber in colour with tan head. Lots of dark caramel malt with slight hoppy notes but with a exceedingly bitter taste, that was almost to much for me.

Cask gravity at The Chambers BF 07, Folkestone. I ended up talking to Eddie Gadd about this beer on the Saturday of the Planet Thanet BF. He said that when he put it in barrels, it was so bitter it made his eyes water but that he was really happy with how the hops had softened and how the beer finally turned out. It’s an amber beer with thin beige head. English hop aroma, little bit of cheddar cheese. Malts are reasonably juicy and then lovely floral hop gives a lasting finish.
