330ml can, thanks to Finn. Shared with him and Leif. Clear copper-reddish body, declining off-white head, fair lacing. Dried and dark fruits on the nose. Fine mixed malt-fruity taste with hints of caramel, prunes, and oak. Lingering, mid-sweet finish warming down the swallow. Fine depth to it. Pleasing (Tromsø, 10.03.2026).

Nice unusual BW. Excellent by the fire and some solid rock.
More or less dark pour and a fine head.
Pleasant intensity in the aroma.
Ok sweetness for a beer like this.
Mellow carbonation level. Dangerously easy to drink.
Toffee, fruity, oak and some spices in the flavor.

17.12.2024, 0,33l can @ home:
Small bubbly shortlasting head, hazy dark brown color. Aroma is dry and spiced, oak, cloves, bark, alcohol, raw licorice, orange peel, caramel malts, cinnamon, pepper corn, nutmeg, dark sugar. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish boozy, bark, booze, oak, soap, minerals, cloves, pepper corn, weeds, raw licorice, fruit stones, dark malts, orange peel, nutmeg. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh spiced and boozy mouthfeel. Weird.

Can. It's dark brown to black in the glass, with a small off-white head. quite spiced aroma, cinnamon and orange, but there's something reminiscent of cloves too, which isn't on the ingredients list. Alcohol, toffee, dark dried fruit and a boozy touch. It's full-bodied, warming and softly carbonated, sweet and spiced, with a rather gentle bitterness. Sweet flavor with quite a lot of spices. Boozyness, toffee, prune, some roasted malts, cinnamon, orange and tannins. Can't really say I noticed any nutmeg. Lasting spiced, warming, sweet and malt driven finish. Well, it's kinda Christmas-y, but I'd sure prefer a clean barrel aged Barley Wine. 241103
