Cask at the Snug, Carnforth. Golden/copper, fairly clear with a big, slightly loose white head. Light apricot/maple/honey aroma. Bitter and slightly astringent on the tongue. Stays bitter all the way to the mouth puckering finish. A strong ale that drinks like a bitter. Dangerous.

Cask @ New Oxford, Salford. Clear golden with some bubbles as a head around the rim of the glass. It’s hoppy but subdued somewhat by its strength - still quite palatable though.
