Courtesy of tpd975. Pours cloudy copper with a bit of tiny floaties and nice white head. The modest aroma brings a few malty notes mixing with apricot, oxidized prunes, spice and a bit of grassy to piney hops. The taste starts with a pleasing mix of grapefruit, pine and then apricot fruitiness. Midway the malts show up just pushing aside the other flavors enough to get noticed. Nice brew.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a small white head over a hazy golden body. Aroma of mango, fennel, pear, spices and vinegar-dill. Taste is coriander and spices, and quite bitter. Oily mouthfeel with light carbonation.

Yes, Ok but how ugly? Clean aroma with a unique trippel volatile olfactory. Big flip top bottle and a really cool logo! Cloudy like a darker hefe and it has a tea frot head. Barely any carbonation. Oily initial middle tongue palate. Rude and rather crude. Not many manners like the belgie cousins but certainly lots of hop bitterness. On style; if on style means lots of hops on top of a belgie tripple. That is if, there is a tripple IPA style, heheheh. Overall rather strong and may I say pretty ugly in an American kind of way. Remains medicinally bitter thru the session. Some hints of wet farmy hay in the background. Whisky bitter at times. Get a little dizzy near the end of bottle. This is an ugly ale, what else can be said? Wew, way too much for this lager session lover! However, if you really like hoppy beers or tripels, ignore my numbers and go for it!, I rate on how much I like it, not by style.

Sampled from a 1 liter brown bottle this beer poured a murky ochre-amber color with an enormous white head. The aroma was sweet, fruity, sugary and yeasty with a decent undertone of grapefruit and pineapple. The flavor was tangy, butter and lightly fruity with notes of piney and fruity hops. A bit rough in the middle before finishing with a sugary sweet finish. This beer has a lot of nice elements but something did not quite click for me. Only a disappointment because I had been really looking forward to it.
