Shared with Finn, third. Crystal clear golden body, covering white head, spotty lacing. Inviting on the nose with leafy hops and mid-sweet malts. Moments of grain, biscuit, and leafy hops to the flavour character. Hints of leafy hop bitterness to the ending. Pleasing to a certain degree. (Liverpool, 13.02.2025).

Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours pale straw with minimal scummy almost white head. Mandarin and grapefruit in the aroma. In the mouth there’s a brief burst of sweetness before it become quite bitter and juicy. A mixture of hops to the fore plus grains, stone fruit and bitter orange peel leading to a dry finish. This is decent.

Cask at GBBF 2015. It pours clear gold with a small white head. The nose is toasty, grainy, cereal, bread, cracker and light spice. The taste is toasty, grainy, cereal, lemon parfait, grapefruit rind, grassy, madelines and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Simple and easy - going. Not bad.
