Slightly spicy with liquorice and grapefruit notes on the tongue. It is a well-balanced and full bodied IPA with a long dry finish and a distinctive red hue.

Bottle from Waitrose, Eastbourne. Pours a clear dark amber colour with a thinnish white head. Nice aromas of citrus, floral, biscuits, apples and peppery spice. Taste has more citrus and floral, more biscuits and peppery spice, a touch of caramel, sherbet and fruit salad sweets. Sweet malts at first and light earthy hops on the finish. Nicely balanced. Medium body, fairly low carbonation and smooth oily mouthfeel. Decent beer.

Clear golden color with a fine off white head that leaves a fine lacing. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and a smooth carbonation level. A bit sweet and a decent bitterness. A bit unbalanced. Toffee, malty, dried fruit, grapefruit hoppy and some pine in the flavor. Decent one, just a bit to sweet.

Ooh. A bit dodgy. Aroma of soap and lemons. Herbs, mint, caramel. A strange mix.
