Cask at Bankers Draft (JDW), Bedford. Ruby/copper. Almost clear. Off-white head, fairly tight. Curtains of lacing. Light bready/malty/earthy smell with metallic and vinegar tinges. Nicely balaned bitter taste with some dry sourness on the finish. A nice enough concept but there isn’t a whole lot of flavour.

Cask handpull Eight Bells jdw Dover. Clear amber lasting cream head. It’s an English bitter with a likeable caramel malt to it. Caramel aroma good condition some English hop tannin on the finish. Nice to have a British briwn bitter. Decent

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - elusive dry and malty. Taste - toffee and astringent malt. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that is a wee bit astringent. Overall - a bit too gnarly this one.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Pale chestnut with a tight cream head; malty aroma with a hint of spice; sour fruit taste with a spicy herbal bitterness; and a lingering sour finish.
