Sample at the brewpub. Clear pale golden color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of floral hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, floral hops and doughy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Cask at GBBF. It pours clear deep amber with a decent white head. The nose is soft, toasty, non-descript, doughy, soft fruits and some candy. The taste is pretty similar, toasty, grainy, quiet sweet, bready malt, apple, over - ripe stone fruits, cereal and straw with a dry finish. Light - Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit non-descript. So - so.

Tap July 5, 2014, during my honeymoon. Well balanced malt and bitter flavor with some dry hops and a light floral character. Dry finish, and light, airy palate. Aaron’s description of effervescent is spot on.
