(Keg at CoolHead Taproom, 20211104) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, coffee, sweet cocoa and lightly smoke. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, coffee, ash, mildly sourness and medium bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, coffee and bitterness. A tasty burnt brew with clean notes of coffee. The coffee drowned the sweetness which was good.
