1/2 pint from the cask at the Brewery Tap in Westhoughton. Pours jet black with a beige foamy head. Aromas & tastes of chocolate, coffee, treacle, liquorice, earth & malt. Medium body. Smooth finish. Enjoyable

Black with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have powdery cocoa. Smooth. Dark chocolate in the finish.

Cask @ Brink, Manchester. Near black with creamy and light tasting, but good coffee notes. It's a full-bodied dark beer.
