Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is oatmeal, chocolate, toffee, taste is sweet, sticky, acrid, something weird going on.

On keg at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Murky brown body, thick solid lacing white head. Nose is chocolate, coffee and that lovely roasted oats smell. Taste is smooth, chocolatey, seriously robust in the body. Pricey, but worth it.

Bottle. Mr. Pickles, Sheffield. Clear, dark, chestnut brown. Film and a few bubbles of beige. Nose has dark chocolate. Dried figs. Prunes and dates, and the like. Hint of vanilla. Smells great. Taste is fruity, vinous, and roasty bitter. Nice tang to it, that balances a lip coating sweetness well. Silky mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. More of the sticky lip thing and fruity tartness on the finish. Very nice.
