12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 1/29/2015. Pours fairly crystal clear deep copper/amber color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of caramel, toast, biscuit, brown sugar, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of caramel, toast, biscuit, brown sugar, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Light earthy herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, toast, biscuit, brown sugar, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness, complexity, and balance of dark/bready malt and earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Nicely clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast ester notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is a nice Vienna lager style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of dark/bready malt and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bottle from a B&M Bargains. Pale amber in colour with a short-lived, off-white, head. Slightly tired cereal malts, grassy, bittering, hops and a yeasty finish. Ok.

Bottle. A gift from Button. I’m beginning to think he doesn’t think too much of me. Clear, copper colour. Filmy, white head. Sweet, fruity hop. Hint of biscuit malt. Taste is sugary, then dry. Thin palate. Dry on the finish.

Sampled @ ChrisO after GBBF day 2. Clear golden to light amber color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, quite bitter, lightly a sweetish grainy touch.

Bottle from Lebowskis. Appearance - amber brown and pours a decent head. Nose - toffee and a touch screen orange zest. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light to medium bodied, with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Slightly sweet maybe. Overall - solid though not as fresh as I’d expect from US craft.

Bottle from Booths, Media City UK. Amber with a thin head. Quite sweet but very palatable. Has a bit of action in the palate and bridges the gap between ale and lager.

Bottle from Tesco. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is woody resin hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a woody resin light metallic hop palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
