Solid nice stout......ehh no..Swarzbier...well....bock?
Anyway pleasant and easy to drink.
Good balanced.
Dark malt, roast, coffee, chocolate and some licorice

330ml bottle kindly shared by Cunningham during a session with him, Finn and special guest Leif Longva. Coal black in the glass, bubbles on a naked surface, spotty lacing. Inviting aromas of roasted dark chocolate malts. Flavoured with dark malty chocolate, joined by almond, cocoa and a bite of liquorice. Lingering aftertaste with well roasted dark malts. Fine depth to it. A nice one. (Vervet, Tromsø 04.09.2025).

Bottled. Black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, tar, some herbs and mild wooden tones with some chocolate and mild roasted elements. Flavour is liquorice, alcohol, coffee, chocolate, some mild wooden and herbal tones with mild smoked wet wooden elements. More a Porter than Doppelbock.

Bottled 330ml (Systembolaget Lund)
Dark brown colour, steady brownish head. Toasted licorice aroma. Light-bodied. Roasted, licorice, bitterness, some rough vegetables too. Ok elements but a bit rough.

Lundabryggeriet Svartepetter, Fläschchen von Bierlinie, Berlin. - Undurchsichtiges Schwarzbraun. - In der Nase sehr tiefes, süßes dunkles und röstiges Malz, Lakritz, Rosinen und herbaler Hopfen. - Antrunk enorm schwer dunkelmalzig mit satten Röstaromen, kalter Mokka, Bitterschokolade, milde Karamelsüße. Dennoch bleibt Platz für frisch-fruchtige Hopfenherbe. Milder rezent, vollmundig, glatt. Im Abgang kühlende Herbe. - Intensiv röstmalziger Doppelbock, trotz seiner Schwere ein wenig klinisch kühl. Draught at KCBD19. Mild fruity aroma. Black colour, seems hazy. Stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted and nicely sweetish. Mild liquorice. Citric but well-balanced.

Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt and chocolate, leading to a bitter finish.
