Floral, Citrusy, Hoppy – Our session IPA has so much personality we just had to name it after ‘The Goalscorer’ AKA the Pundit, TV and Radio presenter, and all-round inspiring and likeable chap, professional footballer ‘Ian Wright MBE’ – although he could have earned his Goalscorer title with any of the clubs that he played for, it was at the mighty Arsenal that his goal scoring ability truly shone, becoming the club’s top scorer for six seasons in a row and playing a major part in the FA Cup and League Cup double in 1993. He went on to partner Dennis Bergkamp as a formidable stiking duo and his time at Arsenal culminated in a truly amazing 185 goals in 279 appearances – and all of them delivered with charm and personality

1/3 pint fra cask på Brewhouse and Kitchen (Highbury) aug-19: uklar kobbergylden med kort skum. Overmoden aprikos brøddeig milde krydderurter og hint av furunål. Flat mouthfeel and distinctly uninspiring.

Cask at the rewpube, 10/06/15. Clear golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is citric peel, grassy notes, tangerine, light bread dough. Taste comprises citric pith, grain, bread, lemon rind, trace of melonics. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light hop bitterness in the close. Ok sessioner for sure but the hop factor is a little too restrained to make me want to revisit this.
