Аромат сухого стаута, есть жженка но не сильная, зерна жареные, хмелевая горчинка, цвет черный, угольный, пенки почти нету. Вкус весьма жженый, но не уходит в ядерную горечь. Сухость на конце, намеки на кофейные зерна, есть хмелевые крафтовые ноты, но нету дисонанса от этого. В целом неплохой сухой стаут.

Bottle from House Of Trembling Madness. Black body with a thick beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of Black Forest gateaux and pine. Flavour of rich malt and peanut. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Dark and delicious with a fruity edge.

Keg at Mother Arch II, 13/01/23. Black with a big ole lasting khaki head. Nose is toffee, light charr, dried fruit esters, red berry nip, dusty hops. Taste comprises dark malts, light spice, ashen notes, cocoa powder, raisins, light pine nip. Medium bodied, light prickly carbonation, drying close with a balanced spattering of earthy hops. Solid as always from this series.

Tap at arch 7 kernel taproom. An opaque jet black coloured pour with a lasting light tan head. Aroma is rich dry roast, charred earth, singed pine, sap, . Flavour is composed of clean dry roast, singed pine wood, quick finish. Mild char but not acrid at all. Palate is clean, semi crisp, moderate carbonation. Really nice , decent lingering hop charge.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Figs & Grain. Pours black with a frothy, beige cap. Light sweetness with lovely roast, ash, dark chocolate. Light bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Drying and lightly ashy finish, rounded chocolate, earth, a few raisins. Outstanding.
