Cask at the brewery. Pours a near clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has earthy grass and a pine note with a hint of herbs underlying. Flavor starts with grass but has growing pine with even a resinous bite in the finish.

Bottle. Turner’s, Sheffield. 5.4%. Fairly vivid, yellow gold. Soft haze. Kernel swede. Nose has clean grain. Apricot. Some fresh pine. Peach. Some tomato plant. All over the shop. Good though. Taste has decent balance of sweet and fruity, pithy bitterness. Smooth palate. Soft carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. A little odd, but enjoyable. Can’t imagine doing pints though, somehow.
