Bottle picked at Hoptimism, Loughborough, Leicestershire and consumed at Camping Resort Zugspitze, Grainau Friday 12th June 2020. Pours hazy gold with a white head, soft mouthfeel, a little mint, a light bitterness, but really not much else, it's okay but for me a rather disappointing Kernel beer.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at the brewery. Pours somewhat hazy gold with a frothy, pure white head. The nose holds glorious pithy citrus fruits, some tangerine and grapefruit. Light sweet flavour with moderate grassy bitterness, more citrus, tangerine and pith, some piney accents, understated pale bread. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Well balanced finish, with some tangerine, a little white grape, dry pale bread, some rindy bitterness, a little oily pine. Excellent.
