Cask at the Bow. Pours clear dark brown with a thin off-white head. Aromas of light chocolate. Taste is light sweet, light roast on the finish.

Cask (gravity) @ Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival (2014), Nottingham Castle, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EL. [ As Cwrw Ial Pothole Porter ].Clear dark red brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, candy, sweet malt, raisin. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, roasted, chocolate, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141009]

Cask on gravity at the Great Welsh Beer Festival, Cardiff, 5/11/2015. Near black in colour, with a slight, beige, head. Plenty of chocolate character, nicely roasted malts, a touch of hop and leafy finish. Enjoyable.

Cask at Manchester beer festival.. Dark malts.. Soft chocolate.. Mellow malts... Soft easy chocolate roast.. Light. Chocolate roast finish

Manchester Beer Festival 2015. Very dark with a small head. Has sweet dark malts and not too much roasted malt given its colour. Has a slightly soapy nose.
