This has a soft malt character, light wheaty acidity, mandarin orange and coriander notes. Even in Miami this is a funny beer for a winter seasonal. Balanced wit, though.

Just enough above average to make you wonder why it isn't better. Some witbier niceties flit about; crisp, meadow-like wheat elements add a grassy undertone with subtle notes of clove and vanilla, and the plum adds an unexpected dark fruit sweetness to the base. Subtle orange peel accents the mellow yeasty tartness, while a cereal milk graininess perks up on the back end. Finishes yeasty and crisp, if a tad on the bland side. Not great, but better than expected. Pours a hazy gold with a fluffy white head and moderate lacing. Aroma gives up a mild grainy sweetness mixed with yeast. Sparkly, creamy texture is pretty great, actually. Not the worst pint you can come across.

12 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, best before 6/2017. Pours hazy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, orange peel, plum, pear, apple, coriander, pepper, wheat, honey, lightly toasted bread, herbal, grass, light berry/clove, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, fruit/spices, and moderate bready malt sweetness; with solid strength. Taste of big lemon, orange peel, plum, pear, apple, coriander, pepper, wheat, honey, lightly toasted bread, herbal, grass, light berry/clove, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, plum, pear, apple, coriander, pepper, wheat, honey, lightly toasted bread, herbal, light berry/clove, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, fruit/spices, and moderate bready malt sweetness; with a nice malt/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Minimal dryness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and slightly silky mouthfeel that is awesome. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.3%. Overall this is a really nice witbier. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, fruit/spices, and moderate bready malt sweetness; very smooth and refreshing to drink. Extremely flavorful for the ABV; with awesome complexity and balance of all of the flavors. The plum/hibiscus was unique, but complimented the base style very well. A very enjoyable offering.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy, golden orange, with a tight, white, frothy head that dissipates very slowly. Aromas of lemon and orange. It’s lightly sweet with flavors of lemon, orange, and a hint of spice. It’s a bit thick and oily on the tongue, with a short, slightly-bitter finish.
Overall, this is just a "meh" beer, that really doesn’t entice me to ever buy it again.. I’ve had much better beers from Samuel Adams, and would gladly buy them instead.

[backlog] 18-03-16 / bottle at Houston Airport. Crisp, spicy. Nice yeast aroma. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. This brew is a cloudy golden color with a medium white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, wheat and spice. Light-bodied with flavors of lemons, wheat and coriander. The finish is spicy and wheaty with a citrus aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Poured from tap at Spuds cloudy orange with a white head. Aromas of fruit lemon and mild coriander. Taste is somewhat sweet and crisp with notes of fruit. Meh!
