Keg at 73 Enid Street, 05/01/24. Black topped with a khaki head. Nose is earthy dried fruits, Sabro waftings, cocoa powder, light Sorachi noted, charr, burnt toffee. Taste comprises roast malts, toffee, charr, pine needle, dried fruit esters, earthy hop bitterness, cocoa powder. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spiked with dusty hop bitterness with Sabro pulling ahead of the Sorachi. Solid CDA.

Cask @ Café Beermoth, Manchester. Black with a creamy head. Has a pretty good mix of dark malts, which are most prominent in aroma, and tropical fruits - most prominent in taste.

Cask at Runaway Tap, Stockport. Sorachi Ace & Sabro BIPA. Pours deep brown with a beige foam. Nice meld of rich roast and hoppy bite, grapefruit & pine. Light to moderate sweet with moderate bitterness. Medium body with soft carbonation. Two marmite hops right up my strasse. Lovely stuff.
